Is mySwimLog Free?
Yes. Absolutely.
Why Is It Free?
I developed mySwimLog for two reasons:
1 - to develop a practical useful web application using a PHP Framework for web development called Qcubed.
2 - to provide an online swimming application that club swimmers can use to record and track their times.
Is My Data Secure?
Yes. Data is backed up on a regular basis and we will soon be adding the ability to download your data to your PC or laptop.
Can Anyone Else See My data?
No. Only you can see your data. We are thinking about adding a "let the coach see" function but that would be an option that you would need to specifically allow.
Should I Use My Real Name As a Username?
Thats up to you if the username is not already taken. My own preference is for a fun, easy to remember username.
Is My Password Secure?
Yes. Your password is encrypted in the database so only you know what it is.
Who developed mySwimLog?
Tony Murphy. He is an IT and Web Architect whose sons are club swimmers and their mum is a keen swimming statistician!
